I collect the beautiful sun bleached pieces of driftwood from the shores of Lake Huron. This piece has turquoise beads from a vintage necklace, creating an incredible pop of colour that reminds me of beautiful Lake Huron. Every piece of driftwood art has it's own personality with varying pieces of wood shapes and colours. The driftwood is drilled and fed onto a firm wire to allow it to hold it's shape. I use fine metal for hanging for it to blend into the background and have the heart as the main feature. This can easily be replaced with any twine or ribbon.
Each piece is made with joy and love and is one of a kind.
